SCV
Everyone talks about them, but what are they? Well, it’s when all the personal, behavioural and transactional information held against customers are integrated in one data repository, so that you can see a complete view of the customer’s relationship with the organisation. Functionally led organisations tend to have their customer data split across several databases; a Single Customer View (SCV) gives you access to those databases at customer level.
A SCV can enable, amongst other things, improved levels of customer service and optimised marketing communications spend. It’s also the bedrock for good business intelligence.
