Numbers, numbers everywhere – but what does it all mean? Data analysis for business can take many guises, from simple cross tabs to complex predictive models, and an array in between. The start point for analysis is data enhancement, ensuring that the data is clean, compliant and complete. Once that is established, it’s important to determine and understand the objectives for the analysis study, and then select the most appropriate methods to achieve the answers. Most importantly: check, check and double check the results. We’ve recently undertaken some comprehensive analysis studies for a number of charities, the case studies for which can be accessed here.
